JOB DESCRIPTION
MOVE Ireland (Men Overcoming Violence) is a national voluntary
organisation working in the area of domestic violence. The
organisation supports the safety and wellbeing of women and their
children who are experiencing or have experienced violence/abuse in
their intimate relationships, by providing group-work intervention
programmes for men who perpetrate this violence but want to change
their behaviour.
MOVE Ireland wishes to recruit a coordinator to support the
implementation of this programme in GALWAY, SLIGO, AND ATHLONE
THE KEY ROLES INVOLVED IN THIS POSITION INCLUDE;
* line management of facilitators delivering the group programme
* screening of referrals
* liaison with referral agents.
This will be an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in
the area of domestic violence and experience in coordinating projects
within the Health, Justice or Community Development fields.

The National Office, Ennis, Co. Clare. Flexible working arrangements
can be considered.
